FICC’s Climate Justice Initiative

FICC’s Climate Justice Initiative

FICC is asking for Governor Baker to sign S. 2995, An Act creating a next-generation roadmap for Massachusetts climate policy. This legislation will put the Commonwealth on the right path towards climate justice. The bill codifies environmental justice into law, sets strict greenhouse gas emissions limits and timelines, creates more training opportunities for people of color in renewable energy, and allows municipalities to require net-zero buildings.

To take action on this, we need everyone to call or email Governor Baker, and post to social media! Our friends at Massachusetts Climate Action Network have created a handy document with email and call scripts that you can customize, and social media posting guides. We support and advocate for policies and programs that create green jobs, affordable green homes, and green spaces in Fairmount neighborhoods.
